Verity turned the South African music industry on its head to create her debut album. Calling on the public to fund and contribute to the project, she sold 2000 copies of 'Journey' before she even started recording.

After three years of hard work, ?Journey? was released in August, proving that every journey starts with the first step. Her music is uplifting and inspirational, much like the artist herself ? 16 percent of all album sales went to POWA (People Opposing Women's Abuse) and Verity's own charity; The Live Your Dreams Foundation.
