A gag reel for the superhero blockbuster The Avengers has surfaced online.
The gag reel includes footage of the film's stars – including Robert Downey Jr, Chris Hemsworth, Chris Evans, Jeremy Renner, Mark Ruffalo and Gwyneth Paltrow – flubbing lines and goofing around between takes.
The movie, which is the third-highest grossing movie of all time, follows a group of Marvel heroes – Iron Man, Captain America, The Hulk, Thor, Hawkeye and Black Widow – as they fight to defend the world from an invasion from another world.
The Avengers is scheduled for release on DVD and Blu-Ray in South Africa on 27 August and in the United States on 25 September. According to Cinema Blend, the US versions were both set to include a gag reel – and so the YouTube video is likely an unintended leak.
