The Final Destination franchise returns with this, the fourth film in the series.

On what should have been a fun-filled day at the races, Nick O'Bannon has a horrific premonition in which a bizarre sequence of events causes multiple cars to crash. The crash sends flaming debris into the stands, brutally killing his friends and causing the upper deck of the stands to collapse on him.

When he comes out of this grisly nightmare Nick panics and persuades his girlfriend, Lori, and their friends, Janet and Hunt, to leave... escaping seconds before Nick's frightening vision becomes a reality.

Thinking they've cheated death, the group has a new lease on life, but unfortunately for Nick and Lori, it is only the beginning.

As his premonitions continue and the crash survivors begin to die one-by-one in increasingly gruesome ways, Nick must figure out how to cheat death once and for all before he, too, reaches his final destination.

Harvey Shine has jetted into London to attend the wedding of his only daughter.

His career as a jingle writer is on the rocks and his boss warns him that he is danger of being fired should he mess up one more time.

But when Harvey arrives in London he learns that his daughter has chosen her stepfather to walk her down the aisle. Harvey watches the ceremony from the congregation and then leaves before the reception to make his flight back to New York for a make-or-break meeting.

But he misses the plane. When he calls his boss to explain, Harvey is fired. Thus ends pretty much the most awful day in the life of Harvey Shine.

Or so he thought.

Drowning his sorrows at the airport bar, Harvey strikes up a conversation with Kate, an employee of the Office of National Statistics. After chatting for a while, Harvey decides to take Kate to his daughter's wedding reception and he will enjoy her big day with her come hell or high water.
