Robert Silke, a local architect turned aspiring filmmaker, has created one of the finest local "mockumentaries" in the true spirit of satire.

'The Satyr of Springbok Heights' is 60 minutes of wicked entertainment with great local flavour. It has taken a fairly average building, situated in the heart of Cape Town city, and transformed it into an icon.

We met with Robert, on the top floor of the building in question, to find out how an architect confronts his filmmaking.

'Springbok Heights' will be screening at the following festivals:
Rhode Island International Film Festival (USA) August 4th-9th
Out in Africa G&L Film Festival Joburg September 3rd-13th
Out in Africa Film Cape Town September 10th-20th

It will also be running a the Labia Cinema commencing September 25th.
