Evan Ross has been cast as Messalla in The Hunger Games: Mockingjay.
The 90210 actor - who is the son of legendary singer Diana Ross – will play camera crew member Messalla in the final two instalments of the blockbuster franchise, Lionsgate confirmed.
Messalla is an assistant to filmmaker Cressida, who leads the crew following Katniss Everdeen during the rebellion, and who will be played by 'Game of Thrones' actress Natalie Dormer.
It's been a busy week for Mockingjay casting: Producers have confirmed that Australian actress Stef Dawson was cast as Annie Cresta, the love of Sam Claflin's character Finnick Odair.
Production on the final two movies will begin this year for release in November 2014 and November 2015.
Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson and Liam Hemsworth will all reprise their roles, The Hunger Games: Catching Fire director Francis Lawrence will return to direct.
The second movie in the series, Catching Fire, is due for release in November this year.
