Warner Bros. have announced that Christina Hendricks, who starred in 'Mad Men', will be seen alongside Katherine Heigl and Josh Duhamel in the romance film 'Life as We Know It'.

The film will be directed by Greg Berlanti, while Barry Josephson and Paul Brooks will serve as producers.

According to Variety, the film "follows two unattached adults whose worlds are turned upside down when their mutual best friends die in an accident and name them as caregivers of their orphaned daughter".

Hendricks is scheduled to play the best friend to Heigl's and Duhamel's characters.

The film will also be executively produced by Heigl and her mother Nancy, while Ian Deitchman and Kristin Rusk Robinson wrote the script.
