Disney has bought Marvel's superheroes from 20th Century Fox for a cool R32-billion, but that hasn't stopped the studio from planning a reboot on 'Fantastic Four'. The franchise has already spawned two films, but 20th Century Fox is hoping to take it much further.

The reboot will be overseen by producer Akiva Goldsman, but the biggest news surrounding the movie is that co-executive producer of the popular 'Heroes' series Michael Green, will write the script. Green recently also co-wrote 'Green Lantern'.

It is unknown whether the stars of the first two films - Ioan Gruffudd, Jessica Alba, Chris Evans and Michael Chiklis - or director Tim Story will be back on board, reports Variety.

The news of more 'Fantastic Four' films come after Columbia Pictures hired James Vanderbilt to write a fifth and sixth installment of 'Spider-Man', while the fourth film is slated to begin production in early 2010.
