We thought it might never happen, but Nu Image/Millennium Films have announced that Sylvester Stallone will be back with a fifth installment of the 'Rambo' series. He is set to star and direct, as he did in the previous film.

It's speculated that the "upcoming project's storyline revolves around Rambo fighting his way through human traffickers and drug lords to rescue a young girl abducted near the U.S.-Mexico border", according to THS.

Production is due to start next year, and the film will be produced by Avi Lerner, Kevin King Templeton and John Thompson, while Danny Dimbort, Trevor Short and Boaz Davidson will serve as executive directors.

The fourth film, 'Rambo', grossed only $42-million in the US and managed to scrape in $113-million overseas.
