Veteran actor Nicolas Cage will be starring in his first 3D film, as he has signed on to star in the revenge action project 'Drive Angry'.
Patrick Lussier will be directing the project, while Michael De Luca is producing.
According to THS, the script was written by Lussier and Todd Farmer and "the story centers on a man (Cage) driven by rage who is chasing the people who killed his daughter and kidnapped her baby. The vendetta/rescue spins out of control as the chase gets bloodier by the mile, leaving bodies strewn along the highway."
Director Lussier is no stranger to 3D films, as he last directed 'My Bloody Valentine 3D', which grossed $51-million in the US alone.
Production is due to start in April next year, with most of the filming in Louisiana.
Got something to say?
