Word is that J.Lo has ordered matching baby outfits — with 'Prince' embroidered on the boy's blue one, and 'Princess' on the girl's pink one. Also, there's the double push-chair, two cribs and teddies with pink and blue ribbons that she's also bought.

Lopez's baby spending spree even reportedly included an enameled black pram for a colossal $3495 (that's almost R23 500)!

So, either Jen really is expecting twins, or she's very cunning doing her best to keep the tabloids from working our whether it's a boy or a girl.

Of course, it's never easy growing up the child of a celebrity — just ask Kiefer Sutherland, son of veteran star Donald Sutherland. Kiefer's currently serving that 48-day sentence for drunk driving. And, apparently, Kiefer's being a "model prisoner", helping out in prison kitchen and generally behaving himself.

According to a rep for the Glendale City Jail, where he's housed, Sutherland is, "not happy to be here, but you can tell from his demeanour that he's sorry and takes responsibility for what he's done".

Paris Hilton also had a taste of life in the big house this year, but now she's moved on to bigger and better things. Well, she's moved on to other things, at least — namely, working on her second music album. Ja, sadly, that's true.

And, to aid her in her efforts, she's even signed up for piano lessons. "This way, I can write my own music and have more control with others not pushing in," Paris informs us. Oh, yes, what could possibly go wrong?

Sometimes things just do go wrong — like stepping out of the limo in front of a bank of photographers, snapping away, and discovering that your dress is see-through…

"That was terrible," says Nicole Kidman, of her appearance at a Sydney awards ceremony. "I got out of the car and it was sunny, so I was like: 'Oh, my gosh,' and kept asking my husband: 'Is my dress see-through?' And he went: 'Yep.' So I was like: 'Give me my coat!' "I didn't realise [the paparazzi] had got me. But I do wear lingerie, so we weren't in dire straits." Yeah, there's a tip the younger stars might want to take to heart.

Things are also looking up for Kidman, now that the paper she'd threatened to take legal action against has issued a full apology for daring to suggest that she was fond of using Jo Malone's White Jasmine and Mint scent — thereby horribly violating her multi-million-dollar contract to promote Chanel No. 5.

"We now accept that it was entirely untrue to allege that Nicole Kidman had been openly using and promoting a competitor's product," says the paper. Also, we're not keen on paying Nic millions in damages…

It's a hard-knock world for celebs, and I'll let you in on more of the best of it — in next week's Bitch and Famous!
