If you're old enough to have been sentient during the '90s, what were your thoughts on supermodel Cindy Crawford back then?

You probably saw pics of her and thought, "Woah, hefty!" right?

No? You were wildly jealous of her freaking perfect figure? That's weird.

Because, as Cindy herself has just admitted in an interview with German mag Bunte, "I would not have become a supermodel in 2009. I look too healthy." Dude, who wants healthy!

Crawford curves are a major fashion don't this decade. And it makes perfect sense. I, for one, totally want to spend untold tens of thousands of rands on couture clothes the moment I see them on a teenage girl with arms so twig-like she can hardly lift those diet-vital cigarettes to her lips.

Model stardom? No way, says Crawford — not with "a body like mine, with big breasts, normal thighs and toned upper arms."

Ok, to be fair, those runway models can't be that weak-armed. Not only do they have to be able to life those appetite-suppressing cigs up for a drag, they also need to be able to hold their coffee cups, and support the weight of a cell phone so they can stay in touch with their coke dealers.

It's a hard-knock life.

Moving on from the insanity of modelling, to... the insanity of celeb life. You're thinking Lindsay Lohan, aren't you? Happily, I can promise that I'll be sparing you the sad details of this week in LiLo's downward spiral into disaster. Poor woman.

No, I'm talking about another, very different star.

Rosie O'Donnell has been a movie and TV staple for decades, but most recently she's known for being one of the hosts of hit US television talkshow 'The View' — and then getting kicked off that for having a massive fight with one of the guests — and for engaging in a huge, on-going war of words with Donald Trump.

And, now, Rosie continues her fine tradition of courting controversy in the interview she just gave with the original shock-jock, Howard Stern.

According to O'Donnell, who's just split from her wife of five years, she totally could have dated Petra Nemcova, back when the gorgeous supermodel was a guest on her show — if only she'd realised that Nemcova was hitting on her. Um, yes.

"You would have to have a neon sign that said 'Rosie, I'm hitting on you' for me to get it."

"She did give me her phone number and we did talk on the phone a couple of times," claims O'Donnell.
