"I basically read every book ever written about Marilyn Monroe. I could end up like that because I constantly struggle with the idea that I think I'm a borderline personality ? or that I have bouts of mild schizophrenia."
"I definitely have some kind of mental problem and I haven't pinpointed what it is."
Well, two things. Firstly, it's fantastic that Fox's talking opening about mental illness, which is typically a source of shame and ridiculous for celebs (and mere mortals, too) ? just think of the kind of stuff people said about Britney when she was diagnosed as bi-polar...
But, second, might I, uh, suggest, Megan, that you ? oh, I don't know ? try consulting a psychologist or psychiatrist? Wondering on your own about whether you might be schizophrenic isn't really the ideal way to deal with what can be a serious illness.
And, finally, I leave you with a celeb who's taking an even more unwise approach to things...
That would be Madge.
Madonna has not just reportedly written her very own movie musical about Wallis Simpson ? the (gasp!) divorced woman that King Edward VIII could only marry by abdicating his throne... no, The Material One is also planning to direct this flick.
Clearly, she's learnt nothing from the disasters that were a number of her ex-husband's films that starred her, or even just got made while he was married to her!
Greater horror still ? word that the luminous Cate Blanchett is said to be the star lined up to play Simpson. No, Cate, no!
"The final script is now written and the locations have been scouted. Madonna is now trying to assemble the cast and put the finances in place," says an insider.
"The first scene is an old woman in her nineties living on her own in a Parisian flat, she starts to tell her life story to a housekeeper and it turns out the woman is Wallis Simpson. There will be a song for every decade of her life." Kill me now.
More celebrity horror. Horrifyingly horrible horror ? in next week's Bitch and Famous! And, if you want more gossip before then, just friend me on Facebook .
Got something to say?
