And, third: David Beckham did not try to cheat on his wife by hitting on a topless model.
The less-than-reputable UK paper that published the story, the Daily Star, has not only now acknowledged that the story was false, but also apologised, paid Beckham a large, undisclosed amount of money in damages, and covered his legal costs.
One story that is true — is that there is currently another Miley Cyrus photo scandal going on.
I know what you're thinking: Oh, sure - I read iafrca.com; I already know about that one. She was supposed to be in these very dodgy pictures showing her doing rather porno things, but those are totally fake.
A justifiable assumption on your part, dear reader. And fake those pictures may be — but there's an even more recent photo scandal with Miley's name on it.
Let's just take stock, though, shall we? There was the whole Annie Leibovitz shoot, in which Cyrus was naked and wrapped just in a sheet for a Vanity Fair spread. Then there was that pic of her mocking Asian people, which caused a great deal of outrage. There was also a series of raunchy pics she'd allegedly sent to her then-boyfriend, which got leaked. And now there's this.
The Miley-photo-scandal du jour involves some pics taken of the 16 year old by the 44-year-old director of her forthcoming movie 'The Last Song'.
Adam Shankman is helming the new Cyrus vehicle — and taking wildly inappropriate photographs of his teenaged star on the side.
There's much debate, though. Some people think the pics are perfectly fine. Personally, if I had a 16-year-old daughter and it was her in these pics of his, I'd be pretty damn disturbed. But what do you think of them? I'd love to know your thoughts.
Shankman isn't at all perturbed by the shots — and, surprisingly, there's no word from Miley's parents yet.
"Miley is a sweet angel who works tirelessly and endlessly, and is allowed to have fun in the make up room! Seriously! Lighten up or no more behind the scenes pics!" warns Shankman.
"She's like my angel little sister."
Uh, I'm pretty sure most guys don't take photos like that of their little sisters.
And, finally, I leave you with a web gem.
Irritatingly, the big TV show streaming sites don't work outside the States, so being in SA means having to wait for stuff to be screened on television.
But there's something awesome on the web that you can watch in whatever country you like — thanks to former 'Friends' star Lisa Kudrow.
Kudrow's online show 'Web Therapy' is now in its second season, and will soon be featuring a mini 'Friends' reunion. Lisa's former co-star Courteney Cox is going to be making a guest appearance on the series.
Courteney's will play an upset psychic, who consults questionable therapist Kudrow when she starts losing her powers. Cox has also signed on for a fourth installment in the slasher series 'Scream', so I hope her acting powers are undimmed post 'Friends' since I'm quite a 'Scream' fan.
There's definitely nothing lacking when it comes to Kudrow's work. She's being doing some brilliant comedy since her sitcom stint, and 'Web Therapy' is no exception.
