That's the question the makers of 'Desperate Housewives' are desperate to have answered. The footage is from an episode not yet screened in the US and features Bree (Marcia Cross) and a new love interest, played by the none-too-hard-on-the-eyes Kyle Maclachlan.

To the producers' horror they recently found the scene available on video-swapping site YouTube.com. Says a rep for the show's studio ABC, to fabled Hollywood paper Daily Variety: "We are looking into the unauthorised clips of 'Desperate Housewives' on YouTube, and will be having them taken down."

Incidentally, though the DH scene may be long gone now, you should still check out YouTube if you haven't already. You've never seen such a huge collection of videos of people falling over, and — even better — snippets of all the best bits of TV that you might have missed (and plenty that haven't been on in SA yet).

Sticking with the loving-it-up theme — seems Lindsay Lohan really is having a very good time with her man Harry Morton. Harry, of course, being another American heir to hotel money. His dad is the chair of the Hard Rock Hotel chain, and young Harry himself has the glamorous job of running a string of restaurants called Pink Taco!

But, the most important points are that he's young, hot and very, very rich. So rich, in fact, that he has more than enough cash to go shopping at Cartier. The thing is, from the moment he popped into that legendary jewellery shop recently, the tabloids have been going wild with rumours that he was buying an engagement ring for Lohan.

Harry and Lindsay certainly seem to have been having fun groping each other in public lately, but engagement? Well, who knows — considering that lately getting engaged seems to have become the Hollywood equivalent of holding hands, I'm afraid I really won't take it very seriously until I actually see her walking up the aisle.

Obviously not used to telling the press to bugger off with a brisk 'no comment', a Harry flacker went to the trouble of explaining that: "I can confirm that Harry was shopping in Cartier, but what he purchased I cannot confirm. If it was in fact a gift then that's between him and whomever the gift is for."

Still staying with couples, let's move on to Britney and Kevin and their wacky high-class trailer-park life. If you've been one of those fretting that Britney Spears is just not cut out for motherhood to little Sean Preston, or the new baby on the way (strongly rumoured to be a girl) — then relax. Britters is a good mother. How do we know? Kevin Federline tells us so.

"What those magazines don't tell you is that Starbucks is a minute from the house. If she feels like she gotta take the baby and put him on her lap and get out of there, so be it," Britney's man Kev says of her misunderstood parenting skills. "I'd say she plays mama real well... She's a very good mother."

Now, for all we really know, all those very public baby mishaps that Britney's had over the last while, may just be the odd exception to the rule of her generally great mothering. But the thing is — having Kevin assess your parenting skills is like getting Whitney Houston to be your AA sponsor.

More disturbing still, is the news that although Kevin's widely ridiculed début performance at the Teen Choice Awards was more awful than anyone could have imagined, he actually managed to get a record deal out of it! He has apparently been snapped up by the great SonyBMG. They'll be supporting his own label Federation Records in releasing his first album at the end of October.

Kev's record is entitled 'Playing with Fire'. Amazingly, he doesn't look like he's going to get the burning he deserves any time soon.
