Paralysed facial muscles — not so much the secret to Oscar-winning acting...

Sure, Nicole Kidman did take home a little golden statuette, and, much as I adore her, I have to say — that forehead isn't the most mobile. But, there was the prosthetic nose she wore as Virginia Woolf, and I think that must have tipped the scales.

Now, at least one Hollywooder has seen the craziness of putting poison into her face. Well, let's not go overboard — she thinks paralysing face poison's fine, as long you zap those muscles judiciously.

"Botox? I think it's fantastic and also horrible," says a conflicted Courteney Cox. "I mean, they've come up with this stuff that can make you not look angry. But you have to use it sparingly."

"I went to this doctor once, and he was like: 'Oh, let me do it just here and here and here.' And I was miserable. I mean, I'm an actor, I've got to be able to move my face." Yeah, that does tend to be a rather central part of acting for the camera...

Cox says she's happy to forgo the worst of the eternal quest for youth, though, since her hubby David Arquette is down with the wrinkles: "He loves the aging process. He thinks it's beautiful."
