Anyone new in his life who might get a song? Judging by the fact that Rhys was just photographed with the words "I love K" written on his face, I think it's safe to say that there is some lucky woman around who might possibly get immortalised in his lyrics.

So, who is the mystery rebound woman? Uh, Kimberley Stewart (daughter of Rod, and thoroughly useless socialite).

Remember the way I forever lost what little respect I had for John Mayer when he dated Jessica Simpson? Ja, well, this is like that. Dignity and Rhys Ifans have gone their separate ways.

Ah, yes, so many lovely people in the acting/singing/dancing game? like the smuggest woman on the silver screen ? Catherine Zeta Jones. And, guess what, it looks as if her little ones are going to be a chip off the old block.

In fact, CZ-J and Michael Douglas' eight-year-old Dylan is already dead set on becoming a star like mummy and daddy.

What did the precious little tyke pipe up with at his first acting class? "My son went to his first drama lesson," reveals Zeta-Jones, "and he turned to his teacher and said: 'Don't worry, I'm a really good actor. It's in my genes.'" Oh, isn't he just a darling?

Whatever his pedigree, the little star-in-the-making might want to look to some South African extras for acting tips.

They may not be the obvious people to be lauded for their dramatic talents, but they so struck Kiefer Sutherland during shooting in Cape Town, for his series '24', that he made special mention of them.

"The people were great. To have the tone and the voice and their perspective ? we just had everything from the extras to all the African talent. They were amazing. We had extras on a street shoot-out scene and they literally hit the pavement during the shoot-out."

"We had to stop because we thought people got hurt," said Kiefer of the extras' ultra-realistic reactions.

"These people were willing to do this eight hours a day, and they were glad to do it. Extras were coming up with ideas. Finally we just said: 'All of you, just do what you want.'" I guess there's some small, bizarre advantage to living amidst so much crime ? we know what the real thing's like.

And, finally, I leave you with a star wedding.

Given that this couple has actually been together for years already, I think there might even be a chance of the marriage working! But, hey, this is Hollywood ? who knows?

Still, talkshow host and comedienne Ellen DeGeneres sounded pretty happy when she spoke to People mag about getting hitched to 'Ally McBeal' and 'Arrested Development' star Portia De Rossi.

"What can I say? I'm the luckiest girl in the world. She's officially off the market. No one else gets her. And now she'll cook and clean for me," quipped DeGeneres.

Of course, now that they've tied the knot, it's time for the media to start the relentless watch for any sign of celeb offspring. "We go back and forth," says Portia about the prospect of her and Ellen having kids. "I don't know if it's in our immediate future. It's something we talk about every few months. We'll know when the time is right if we're going to do it."

Adds DeGeneres: "If they would be as pretty as Brad and Angelina's kids, we might."
