For all the Little Monsters, we've put together a handy guide to help you make the most of your concert experience... And for the rest of Cape Town, we've included a list of road closures to make sure you don't get stuck!

AT THE CONCERT

Gates are expected to open at 5pm, and all fans will be subjected to security checks before entering the venue. This may include having your bags searched and your body patted down to check for concealed weapons and other illicit material and items prohibited in the stadium. Please note, that depending on the time and number of people, these checks may take some time. Big Concerts advises fans to enter the Stadium before 7pm to make sure they do not miss any of the show.

Once you have entered the Stadium precinct, you may not leave again. However, there are ample toilet facilities on site and food and drink is available for purchase at the Stadium. Note that the drinks' counters – which sell no hard liquor – in particular are always extremely busy. Make sure you have cash and ID in hand to speed up the process. The bar is open from when the gates are opened, and will close an hour before the end of the performance – unless otherwise instructed by safety officials.

And speaking of safety… No stage-diving, moshing, climbing or crowd-surfing is permitted at the venue. Fans are encouraged to adopt "appropriate standards of behaviour" – and fans that are particularly rowdy or acting dangerously can be refused admission to or be removed from the venue.

There are medical personnel on standby at the event in case of injury. If you or a fellow concertgoer is injured, follow the signage or ask an usher for directions.

If you find lost property, please hand it in to one of the security managers at the main pedestrian entrance. All lost items can be identified and collected from the Big Concerts office after the show.
