Couldn't stay up for the Academy Awards? We bring you some of the best quotes of the night!
Sandra Bullock started off her acceptance speech for the Best Actress award by quipping "Did I really earn this, or did I just wear y'all down?" She dedicated the bulk of her speech to a tribute to her mother Helga, who passed away in 2000. "For not letting me ride in cars with boys until I was 18. Because she was right, I woulda done what she said I was going to do".
You can watch her emotional speech below. Have tissues on hand.
On collecting his award for Best Supporting Actor, Inglourious Basterds star Christoph Waltz quipped: "Oscar and Penelope, that's an uber bingo!" He added a nice twist to the usual "laundry list" of thanks, by turning his thank you speech into the tale of an adventurer.

Kathryn Bigelow was clearly overwhelmed by her Oscar win for best director. Once she recovered herself, she began thanking her co-workers. "II would not be standing here if it wasn't for Mark Boal, who risked his life for the words on the page," she said. She ended her speech by dedicating her award "To the women and men in the military who risk their lives on a daily basis in Iraq and Afghanistan and around the world. And may they come home safe."
Mo'Nique, on accepting her best supporting actress award for Precious and her refusal to "campaign" for her Oscar by attending dinners and balls. "First, I would like to thank the Academy for showing that it can be about the performance and not the politics." She continued her speech by saying, "To my amazing husband, Sidney, thank you for showing me that sometimes you have to forgo doing what's popular in order to do what's right - and baby, you were so right."
Juan Jose Campanella while accepting the award for Best Foreign Language Film for El Secreto de Sus Ojos: "I want to thank the Academy for not considering Na'vi a foreign language", referring to the language spoken by the aliens in Avatar.
Oprah Winfrey on Gabourey Sidibe: "Today, she is sitting in the Academy Awards in the same category as Meryl Streep. If that isn't a Hollywood fairytale, then what is?"
Precious star Gabourey Sidibe on the red carpet: "Let me tell you something about this dress. If fashion was porn, this dress is the money shot."
And a word (or two) from the hosts, Steve Martin and Alec Baldwin:
Martin: "Oh, look, there's that damn Helen Mirren."
Baldwin: "That's DAME Helen Mirren."
Baldwin: "And I know you loved Invictus."
Martin: "I did."
Baldwin: "Because it combines two of your favourite passions: Rugby and tensions between blacks and whites."
Gesturing towards High School Musical star Zac Efron and Twilight hunk Taylor Lautner: "Take a good look at us, guys. This is you in five years."
Ladies and gentlemen, the show is so long that Avatar now takes place in the past." - Steve Martin
