Paris later came out in public and said that she was 'out of it' during filming, and did not know what she was doing while the camera was rolling. Fair enough. I'd probably say something similar. Salomon sued for defamation, and Paris countersued over the public release of the tape. The case was settled out of court in 2005, and the video was later released on DVD as '1 Night in Paris'. Classy.

Kim Kardashian
Another woman made famous for little other than being a semi-famous sex-tape star, Kim Kardashian had her video leaked in 2007. Made with her then-boyfriend Ray J. Notice that it's always then-boyfriend, then-husband, then-partner? apparently most relationships don't quite stand the sex tape test.

Kim pursued legal action against Vivid Entertainment for ownership of the tape, although the case was settled for a reported $5 million. Shortly after the release of her steamy home video, Kim got her own TV show? 'Keeping Up with the Kardashians'. Anybody predict a Joost and Amor reality show?

In February 2009, Rapport newspaper and Heat magazine reported that they had video evidence of rugby hero Joost engaging in sex play with a mystery blonde and snorting a white substance. At first, Joost denied being the star in the video, but admitted to knowing the two people in it. Although he threatened to lay criminal charges against the makers and producers of the video, he never got round to it.

And now, in his tell-all book 'Joost: Man in the Mirror', Joost has come out and admitted to being the star of the sex tape with former stripper Marilize van Emmenis. He insists that it is the only time he has ever cheated on his wife, Amor.

Supersport fired him from his freelance position as commentator/presenter, setting a new land speed record. I don't think he'll need to worry about cash flow for a while, though. I predict massive sales of Joost's new book. Just in time for Christmas, too.

After much consultation with my crystal ball and copious amounts of tea, I feel confident in making my predictions for future sex tape stars.

Miley Cyrus has already been involved in more photograph scandals than I can even count. After the 'Hannah Montana' star stripped off for an Annie Leibovitz shoot where she was wrapped only in a blanket, photographs later emerged of her posing provactively in photos apparently sent to her (then) boyfriend.

Vanessa Hudgens ? Miss 'High School Musical' herself ? was featured in a variety of kinky photographs meant for her boyfriend Zac Efron. Very naked photographs of her circulated the Internet faster than you could update your Facebook status. If a sex tape of her and Zac Efron ever leak, I think I'll spontaneously combust from laughing. 'Thigh School Musical', anyone?

Anything with a 'Twilight' stamp on it sells like hot cakes. So it's only a matter of time before naked photos and sex tapes of Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson start surfacing. (First prize would be them together, of course). The 'Twilight' pair can barely sneeze without it making headlines, so I suggest a blanket ban on any recording of sexual activities for at least 10 years.
