Kinky Afro is one of Good Hope FM's most popular weekly features — resurrecting the best in classic hits from the '80s and '90s on The Nigel Pierce Show every Friday from 8am. The station is pleased to finally give their listeners what they’ve been asking for, and release a compilation of all the iconic highlights from the show.

'Kinky Afro Volume One' features smash hits as diverse as Michael Jackson's 'Billy Jean', Dee-Lite's 'Groove Is In The Heart', Level 42's 'Something About You', Odyssey's 'Going Back To My Roots', Ini Kamoze's 'Here Come's The Hot Stepper', Duran Duran's 'Notorious', Bros' 'When Will I Be Famous?', and Rick Astley's 'Never Gonna Give You Up'.

It's all about taking you back to a time where people danced insanely badly, nothing was airbrushed or even covered up and the bigger your hair, the better you thought you looked.

Nigel Pierce created this concept and has committed to donating his percentage of CD sales to the Saartjie Baartman Centre for Abused Women & Children.

"Are you dancing…because I'm asking!?!" asks Pierce.
