Forget Columbus. Or Lara Croft. Indiana Jones is the greatest adventurer of all time. And after a 20-year break he's back — a little older, certainly, but no less willing to brush off snakes, find artefacts and outwit the Germans.
Set some 20 years after his final outing, 'Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull' finds Indy (Harrison Ford) trying to outrace a brilliant and beautiful agent (Cate Blanchett) for the mystical, all-powerful Crystal Skull of Akator.
Teaming up with a rebellious young biker (Shia LaBeouf) and his spirited original love Marion (Karen Allen), Indy launches into an adventure that's all as whip-cracking, tomb-raiding, and exhilarating as you'd expect from Steven Spielberg and George Lucas.
It's now out on DVD, with the single disc version including bonus features on the evolution of the new film, a tribute to the legendary hero and his creators, and a look at pre-production as Spielberg creates animatic sequences, LaBeouf learns to swordfight and the filmmakers and cast reunite on the soundstage.
To celebrate the release, we're giving away five exclusive hampers of 'Indiana Jones' branded merchandise. Each hamper includes a wallet, canvas bag, fedora, mug, and Crystal Skull keychain and is worth R2500.
