Over the last ten years UK-based recording artist Fin Greenall, aka Fink, has evolved from a trip-hop producer, remixer, and DJ to a world-class songwriter and vocalist, having written songs with artists such as John Legend and Amy Winehouse.
It was in 2006 that Fink was reincarnated as the first singer-songwriter on legendary British record label, Ninja Tune Records, releasing the exceptional 'Biscuits for Breakfast' LP which was followed in 2008 by 'Distance and Time'.
Immersed in a very personal labour of love, this Bristol-bred artist is forging an exceptional career with insistent, heartfelt songs, bruised basslines, and an achingly soulful voice.
Over the last three years and around the release of two life-changing albums, Fink — now comprised of Greenall (vox/guitar), Guy Whittaker (bass) and Tim Thornton (drums) — has toured extensively across the globe, playing hundreds of headline shows as well as major support slots with the likes of Massive Attack and Zero 7.
The Alexander Theatre in Johannesburg (10 October) and Cape Town's The Assembly (11 October) host Fin Greenall and Guy Whittaker of Fink for two exclusive acoustic performances on their first ever visit to South Africa.
