The skinny master of observational humour and comedy, Carl Barron, arrives in South Africa in July this year.

Barron is one of Australia's top comedy performers, a roof-tiler who got his break at comedy when he moved to Sydney and decided to walk on stage at the Harold Park Hotel one night.

Barron's natural gift at physical comedy and 'comedic monology' or one liners, has seen him his 'Carl Barron LIVE' DVD go four times platinum, making it the most successful Australian comedy DVD in history. On his most recent tour to the Sydney Opera House he sold out a record breaking number of shows — partly thanks to his non-threatening, gentle, awkward, self-conscious, and relaxed approach to comedy.

Barron performs at Johannesburg's Victory Theatre from 8 to 13 July and at Cape Town's Baxter Theatre from 14 to 19 July 2008.

Tickets are available from Computicket outlets or online at www.computicket.com.
