Catfights and awkward tensions in Hollywood seem to happen more times than the Kardashians can say "doll". Whether it's a Twitter fight or a physical fist fight, stars continue to outdo themselves. Can't we all just get along?
Chris Brown vs. Drake
These two have long been rivals over Drake's alliance with Brown's ex, Rihanna, but their most recent scandal began when Brown tweeted a photo of a cut on his chin last Thursday. He insinuated it was due to a clash with Drake's entourage at club W.i.P in New York, but Drake denied being involved in the incident, which left eight people injured. It's rumoured this bust-up was yet another fight over Rihanna.
At a gig on Saturday, Drake seemed to reference the fight during a song, "It's last call and you're really too drunk to give a f***, a n***a in the corner is standing there looking at you funny. You bump elbows with him on the way to the bathroom, but really there's only one n***a that you got to think about."
Paris Hilton vs. Nicole Richie
Their "Simple Life" got a whole lot complicated when the two blonds had a major fallout that lasted years. Although no one really knows what happened, Hilton did reveal this: "It's no big secret that Nicole and I are no longer friends. Nicole knows what she did, and that's all I'm ever going to say about it."
Piers Morgan vs. Madonna
The two have been having a tiff for a few years now, with Morgan "banning" Madonna from his talk show. "It's a lifetime ban," he said. "Although I did say if she went on bend and knee and begged forgiveness I'd think about it."
Morgan explained last year in an article for the Daily Mail that he didn't want to interview Madonna "on the grounds that she is far more boring and considerably less talented than her new, young doppelganger Lady Gaga. He said last January that she has been 'an irritant in my life for 20 years."
Representatives for the singer insisted, "She doesn't even know who he is." Ouch!
Madonna vs. Lady Gaga
After criticising Gaga's Born This Way track as "reductive" and a "wrongful redo", Madonna performed her own song Express Yourself as a medley with Born This Way on her current tour. Trying to prove a point, are we?
Shortly after, Gaga hit back with: "It sometimes makes people feel better about themselves to put other people down or make fun of them or maybe make mockery of their work... And that doesn't make me feel good at all."
Oprah vs. 50 Cent
The rapper and famous talk show host feuded for years over their disagreement about the use of the N-word. After finding out that he actually named his dog after Oprah, she decided to interview him. 50 explained in her interview how he felt her famous campaign against the word and degradation of women in hip-hop felt like a personal attack.
"I would see moments where you would discuss your feelings on the culture, and everything that was wrong with the culture was on my CD ... and I was like, 'She doesn't like me'."
So why name the dog Oprah? "At the time, I was just looking at the situation and I saw I was developing negative feelings for someone who doesn't even know me."
50 said he also got a cat – Gayle (O's bff). Meow!
Jon Hamm vs. Kim Kardashian
After Jon Hamm told Elle UK that "Whether it's Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian or whoever, stupidity is certainly celebrated. Being a f***ing idiot is a valuable commodity in this culture... You're rewarded significantly", Kim responded with a sharp online response.
She wrote: "I just heard about the comment Jon Hamm made about me in an interview. I respect Jon and I am a firm believer that everyone is entitled to their own opinion and that not everyone takes the same path in life. We're all working hard and we all have to respect one another. Calling someone who runs their own businesses, is a part of a successful TV show, produces, writes, designs, and creates, 'stupid,' is in my opinion careless," she wrote.
The Mad Men star and Kim have reportedly made up. But hey, everyone is entitled to their own opinion!
Kim Kardashian vs. Paris Hilton
Kim can't seem to please everybody and, although the two reality stars made up just this year in Cannes, their years-long feud got quite intense. After splitting as friends, Paris dissed her former BFF on the radio, laughing that Kim's butt reminded her of "cottage cheese inside a big trash bag."
Who knows what sparked this catty fight, maybe a little jealousy? Reality show ratings? We wonder…
Kanye West vs. Taylor Swift
This feud will go down in history as one of the most cringe-worthy moments "of all time!" as West crashed Swift's VMA acceptance speech to exclaim that Beyonce "had the best video of all time!"
Even though the rapper later apologised to Swift, it didn't stop her from writing a song about him, or for him to return the favour.
But West also felt strongly about the backlash, saying that "Taylor never came to my defense in any interview ... and rode it and rode it". Wonder who we should feel more sorry for…
Lindsay Lohan vs. Rosie O'Donnell
While on the Today show, O'Donnell took a jab at the actress when she revealed she didn't think Lohan was capable of playing Liz Taylor in an upcoming Lifetime movie, Liz & Dick.
"Watching Whitney Houston's funeral I remember thinking, 'Why didn't more people say what they knew?' We all knew… To look at Lindsay Lohan, you can't help but feel for her ... and I do not think she's untalented, I think she's quite talented."
Lohan responded by saying, "It's funny that someone you don't know at all can say something so intrusive and so knowing."
Jim Carrey vs. Jenny McCarthy
Carey's ex recently slammed him for not keeping in touch with her Autistic son. The two dated while Evan, her son, was 3 years old until he was 8.
"I've tried to ask [Jim] numerous times [to see Evan], because my son still asks."
Carrey claims he hasn't been contacted, saying, "I will always do what I believe is in the best interest of Evan's wellbeing. It's unfortunate that Evan's privacy is not being considered. I love Evan very much and will miss him always."
