Missed the screening of the Golden Globes? Not to worry - we've put together some of the highlights for you to enjoy!
Ricky Gervais' opening monologue
Was third time the charm for Ricky Gervais? He opened his hosting of the show with "So, where was I?" before going on to say that "The Golden Globes are to the Oscars what Kim Kardashian is to Kate Middleton". Watch his opening monologue below.
George Clooney - Best Actor in a Drama
When George picked up his award for his role in The Descendants, the highlight was his thanking Shame star Michael Fassbender for taking over the full-frontal nudity duties... And telling him he could play golf. Without a club.
Michelle Williams - Best Actress Comedy/Musical
My Week With Marilyn star Michelle Williams gave a sweet, touching thank you speech to Matilda, her daughter with late actor Heath Ledger. She paid tribute to her daughter's "bravery" - and apologised for reading bedtime stories with Marilyn's trademark sultry voice for six months.
Octavia Spencer - Best Supporting Actress
The Help star was clearly a favourite with the crowd. She opened her acceptance speech by paying tribute to domestic workers, past and present.
Peter Dinklage - Best Supporting Actor (TV)
The Game of Thrones actor ended his speech with a shout-out to "Martin Henderson," and instead of explaining what that meant, simply told audiences to "Google him". Henderson, it turns out, was picked up outside a pub and thrown to the ground in an apparent "dwarf-tossing" incident.
Jean Dujardin - Best Actor Comedy/Musical
The star of The Artist pulled out a piece of paper to read his script from, before apologising and saying it was because he was "French".
The Artist - Best Film Comedy/Musical
Uggie the dog stole the show as the cast and crew of The Artist took to the stage to collect their award.
Meryl Streep - Best Actress Drama
Meryl Streep came up to accept her award for her role as Margaret Thatcher in The Iron Lady and got halfway through her speech before swearing loudly and gesturing that she had forgotten her glasses at the table and couldn't remember the rest of her speech.
Matt LeBlanc - Best Actor in a Comedy (TV)
It's been a long time since Friends - and finally Matt LeBlanc has earned recognition - this time for his work on Episodes. He sweetly addressed the crowd midway through his speech, saying he was "nervous".
